Giant PC manufacturer has introduced to markets all across the country its 5738 D Notebook, which has marked its place as being one of the first notebooks with 3D capabilities and multi-touch to have hit the market.
With a 15.6 inch LED widescreen display, the notebook is powered by a 2.1Ghz dual core Intel Processor, and offers up-to 4GB DDR2 RAM, a built-in ATI 4570 graphics processor and 500GB hard drive. The new laptop is equipped with a DVD writer, 1.3 megapixel incorporated camera and Gigabit LAN, in addition to 3G options, memory card reader and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The laptop, which is 3D enabled, uses a "three pillar system", which completely relies on a "3D film coating on the display, polarising glasses and software to display videos, games and photos in 3D".
The notebook's software can easily convert any 2D video into 3D, that too in real time.
The Acer 5738 D Notebook has been priced at Rs. 43,500.
